SUVIN GOLD

SUVIN GOLD

Indian Suvin Cotton is the jewel in the Indian cotton crown, nicknamed “suvin gold.” Only a few thousand bales of this rare, heritage cotton are grown each year in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Harvested by hand and rarer than Egyptian Giza cotton, it is generally not available in the U.S., particularly at our extreme thread counts and natural state. Suvin cotton is an extraordinarily natural and breathable fiber, for your coolest, most luxe sleep yet.

EXTRAORDINARY FIBER LENGTHS

EXTRAORDINARY
FIBER LENGTHS

Suvin is one of India’s top heritage extra-long staple (ELS) cotton. A unique property of Suvin Cotton is its extraordinary fiber length, enabling it to be woven to very high thread counts without sacrificing its exclusive softness and silkiness. Suvin’s 38-40 mm fiber length puts it leagues ahead of other cotton, including Pima Cotton (34 mm), Supima Cotton (34 mm), and even Egyptian Cotton (31.5mm - 36mm). Its unrivaled quality and our unique manufacturing process means that over time — the more you wash these sheets — the more luxurious they become.

MORE THREADS,
LUSTER & LUXURY

The “thread count” is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. Many manufacturers count individual threads twisted together to make a single thread, which leads to an inflated thread count. But Suvin is different. Because it’s the longest cotton fiber in the world, extremely fine yarn can be woven. As the yarn becomes longer and finer, it develops a more luxurious feel and a silky pearlescent luster — and increased durability. A 600 and 1,000-thread count Superfine Suvin Sheet set is the pinnacle of eco-luxury.

600 THREAD COUNT 3 COLORS

A denser and more luxurious weave, this is the most prized expression of our Superfine Suvin Cotton sheets. Colors: white and natural.

TRANSPARENCY AND PROVENANCE

TRANSPARENCY & PROVENANCE

Our Indian Suvin cotton is purchased directly from family growers to ensure traceability. We believe in getting to know the farmers and experiencing the farms where the cotton is grown. Each bale of Suvin cotton arrives at our cotton mill for processing with a unique number, allowing complete traceability from the farm to the final production process. This process uses the latest technology to create the world's most efficient, productive cotton spinning system — essential to producing the finest quality yarns.

BEYOND ORGANIC

MORE THAN ORGANIC

The entire Suvin production process — from growing to harvesting, spinning, and dyeing — is Global Organic Textile (GOTS) certified organic. Our Superfine Suvin Sheets are sustainably produced in a manner that values the environment as much as the lives of the people who produce them. Our natural (raw) color option takes sustainability to the absolute extreme —  no dyes are added to the product — retaining its beautiful and unique natural raw buff color and making it safer for you and your family.
