The Avocado Green Foundation with legs allows for optimal airflow for your mattress while maintaining critical support with wooden slats that are spaced 3.25 inches apart. While older box springs may sag over time — or provide unwanted bounce — our foundation is built to last and comes with a 10-year warranty.
We craft our Avocado Green Foundation with a solid wood frame and surround it with a woven exterior that's designed to provide lasting support for your mattress. Use it in place of a bed frame for the optimal sleep experience. Engineered for reliability, we've tested our foundations to support up to 600 pounds.
The minimalist design of our Avocado Green Foundation with legs can be easily assembled in just minutes — without tools! Simply lock the four outermost wood frame rails together, insert the provided locking pin, add the center support frame, and roll out the woven slatted surface on the top. Yes, it’s that simple.

Our foundation ships via FedEx in convenient, compact packaging. If you order your foundation with one of our mattresses and choose our optional in-home delivery service, we'll also set up your foundation for you (within the continental U.S. only).

As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. We also recognize our offsets and reductions aren't enough. Solving climate change will require systemic solutions. That's why, through our partnerships with Ceres and the American Sustainable Business Network, we also advocate for state and federal policies that support equitable solutions to the climate crisis.
We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill — we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.
